Albert Joiner

Albert hails originally from Chicago, Illinois. He studied Fine Arts in high school, where he developed his painting and drawing skills using models and still life subjects, created murals, and studied various artists such as Gauguin, Van Gogh and Rembrandt. In 1985, Albert received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Albert then joined the Robert Daskal Group as a Surface Designer. While there, he employed his artistic ability in creating designs for women's and men’s apparel. Albert later took a position as Faux Finisher in 1997 with the Phoenix interior decorating firm of Nielsen Diversified and executed custom-made finishes on home decorative items. Today, Albert spends most of his time in his studio experimenting with new mediums and techniques, blending the knowledge, skills, and broad experience he has acquired as an artist. His current works exude a very sultry island feel and beautifully capture the heated sunsets and mysterious quiet of the island nights. Albert's use of bold colors is both adventurous and compelling.
